DENNIS
M. DOHERTY,
Founder, President, Senior Moderator/Analyst
Leading DMD's Strategic Research Team with over 14 years of advertising,
marketing, and market research experience, Dennis began his professional
career at a couple of large agencies, before moving to the client
side as well. Over the years, he has helped build and mold the
marketing and advertising strategies for several companies, and
founded DMD in 1994. All of us bring a broad and interesting range
of life experiences and open-minded approach to research and employ
traditional innovative and creative techniques to 'get under the
surface'. Having conducted a significant amount of work in the
wine/spirits, automotive, pharmaceutical, financial and many other
categories, I am constantly fascinated by people. I mean this
what they're thinking, how they came to a particular place of
opinion, what influences them to alter those mindsets. I am very
interested in how brands, various media, and technology change
behaviors and attitudes, and vice versa how companies change
themselves in response to the "pulse" they feel from
consumers. It's a constantly fluid process. We all work hard to
ensure that every client accomplishes their research goals, through
solid examination of their objectives, and delivery of solid,
insightful findings and credible recommendations. I am a graduate
of Duke University with degrees in Biology and English, and bounced
around in several major areas, including a concentration in Psychology,
and significant dabbling in Political Science, Public Policy,
and Religion. I truly loved and took advantage of a great liberal
arts education at a school I really enjoyed.
